Hazel Dennison received the Peggy Dixon award

Congratulations to Hazel Dennison for receiving the Peggy Dixon award for outstanding services to early dance. As it is normally presented during the EDC Biennial Conferences, the award to Hazel is long overdue due to the COVID pandemic.
Hazel has worked on early dance with many famous practitioners, including Andrea Francalanci, Barbara Sparti, Alessandro Pontremoli, and Anne Daye. She has taught at summer schools, workshops, and heritage programmes, including the De Montfort University, London College of Dance, and Little Benslow Music School. Hazel draws upon a diverse practice of dance, drama, and theatre studies through production, performance, research, and conference. She is currently working on a choreographic perspective of Domenico da Piacenza.
