“Lace for the Ball” was a Highlight of the 2015 Early Dance Festival

On Friday 23 October, Heather Toomer shared a private view of her extensive lace collection with those at the Early Dance Festival this year. There were lovely pieces from the 16th to the 19th century, carefully arranged so that every single one could be viewed. Her talk was full of authoritative detail and tips on how to care for and conserve fragile items. The evening was a delight!
