New Research Grants in honour of Ivor Grant

The Society for Dance Research has recently announced the Ivor Guest Research Grants, in honour of their Founding President and his legacy for the field of dance research. Ivor and Ann Hutchinson Guest were also longtime Patrons of the Early Dance Circle. Ann still gives us her support.

The Society for Dance Research has £2,500 per annum to spend on small grants for PhD students, early career researchers, established researchers, independent scholars and artist practitioners. Generally, awards will offer up to £500 but applicants can make the case for more if the project justifies it. Applicants must be a member of the Society for Dance Research.The request for funding must be in relation to the pursuit of dance research in all of its forms, in accordance with the Society’s objectives.
