The Hampshire Regency Dancers proudly present ‘A Ball for Jane Austen’

The Hampshire Regency Dancers proudly present ‘A Ball for Jane Austen’ – “An English rose” taking place in Winchester from Friday 28th July to Sunday 30th July 2017.  This year is a special anniversary; our Ball weekend celebrates the life of England’s famous Author, Jane Austen, who died 200 years ago on 18th July 1817 and now rests in Winchester Cathedral.

Jane was born in Hampshire and lived here for most of her life, writing and revising her books whilst living at Steventon and Chawton.  We have organised an exciting weekend of events for you – with walks and visits to places that Jane would have known, including some exclusive locations not usually open to the public.  The ball itself, on Saturday evening, will be hosted by Stuart Marsden with music provided by Green Ginger.

We are delighted to send you the earliest possible opportunity to book tickets.  Please find attached the information pack and booking form for the weekend’s events.
