The Twenty-Second Annual British Graduate Shakespeare Conference (BritGrad) Thursday, 4th – Saturday, 6th June, 2020

CALLING ALL DANCE HISTORIANS

Proposals are sought on subjects relating to Shakespeare, Early Modern, and/or Renaissance Studies. Any discipline is welcome which intersects
with the above fields (including, but not limited to literature, history,
drama and performance, film, television, art, music, politics, and cultural studies).
Proposals can take three forms:
Firstly, abstracts of 200 words proposing research papers that are up to
20 minutes in length are welcome.
Secondly, also welcome are proposals for practical or creative forms of
criticism, such as original writing or performance, that last no more than 20 minutes in length. Again, the proposal for these contributions should
take the form of an abstract of 200 words.
Finally, proposals for panels made up of three papers, each 20 minutes in length, are sought. An abstract of 200 words for each paper is required,
along with a title and rationale of 100 words for the panel.
If you feel you have something suitable that doesn’t fit into the above
categories, please get in touch with us.
Conference bursaries are on offer (details below).

The deadline for proposals is 13:00 GMT on Monday, 16th March 2020 to be submitted to registrar.britgrad@gmail.com
