Three Crowning Glories at the Queen’s House

All those interested in Renaissance culture, dance and costume will want to visit the Queen’s House, Greenwich SE10 before the end of August. This free exhibition has assembled 3 “fabulously bombastic” Armada portraits of Elizabeth I.

The Queen’s House itself, one of the earliest examples of Renaissance architecture in England, is well worth a visit, holding as it does many treasures. Now items from the National Gallery and from Woburn Abbey, family seat of the Duke of Bedford, have been placed within its existing display. For more information, see rmg.co.uk.
